Summer is right around the corner and it’s been lovely to pull out the cute, trendy clothes to style my daily look.
Several of the spring and summer trends have been reappearing and most of them derived from the ’90s and the Y2K era.
Then you have the styles that been in and out from the previous decades such as the ’60s and ’70s.
Now coming back to the 2000s, the Y2K nostalgia has made its infamous return for many of us, millennials. From the cutout tops to the platform sandals, they are definitely making their entrance by showing up everywhere.
I’ve noticed this spring season that the trends have been bolder and brighter. The common colors I’ve seen around are hot pink, neon green and even bright yellow. I believe these color hues will continue to be popular all the way through the end of this summer.
Many of the outfits seemed to have less material during this particular season too.
I like some of these trends, especially the platform shoes. I mean come on, we wanted to buy the tallest platform shoes we could find because when we were younger, it was necessary to look taller and dress like one of the Spice Girls.
